Germany´s first bi-national Museum opened its doors in 1960
in the romantic setting provided by the former residence of
Józef Ignacy Kraszewski.

Kraszewski (1812 - 1887)
Józef Ignacy Kraszewski (1812 - 1887) was one of the most
important personages in Poland in the 19th century. The
exhibition offers extensive insight into the life of this versatile
author, along with the history and culture of Poland during the
epoch in which he lived.
